Jaylene and Dwayne met us on a gorgeous evening at Highland Glen Conservation Area for their engagement session. We love couples that are constantly making each other laugh, and show us real genuine happiness. We had such a blast with these two and their pups!
Tammie and Cody were joined together, surrounded by their closest family members and friends on the edge of Lake Huron, in Sarnia, Ontario. It’s clear by the radiant smiles and tons of belly laughs that everyone in attendance had a blast, and we had the time of our lives capturing it all for them.
April 28 marked the beginning of our wedding season, and it started with a bang! Nicole and Travis celebrated their love at Sarnia Riding Club, surrounded by their friends and family. These two Torontonians created a day that will be remembered by all in attendance, and we were thrilled to be with them to photograph it all.
Ashley and Codi were the ideal candidates, and their classy-boho style complemented the surroundings perfectly. Accompanied by the most stunning golden hour light, a gentle breeze, and plenty of mosquitoes, Ashley and Codi were any photographer’s dream clients. They knocked out pose after pose, and were even more radiant during the candid moments.
Graham and Michelle’s adoration for each other was infectious, as was their joy of having their families surrounding them. Most of Graham’s guests traveled across the pond from England. With a stunning Christmas themed reception at The Toronto Hunt, right on Lake Ontario, these two celebrated the start of their marriage. We are so grateful this amazing couple asked us to be a part of their special day.
2016 marks the fourth year photographing this amazing couple! Alissa and Chris never fail to be some of our favourite clients, and always trust our vision, no matter how obscene it may sound at the time. Last year during our couples’ session, Chris proposed. Next October, they’ll be tying the knot! This year, they joined us in Mooretown, Ontario for a session involving an old railcar, a human totem pole, and a train bridge.
With their wedding date less than a year away, the end of the autumn season felt like the perfect time to photograph Meaghan and Daryl’s engagement session. This gorgeous couple met us at Highland Glen Conservation Area, just north of Petrolia, Ontario, where we got a great mixture of fall colours, blue waters, and lots of romantic scenery.
Jeremy and Tammy’s autumn wedding was absolutely gorgeous. The fall colours on the trees complimented the stunning red bridesmaid dresses and the bouquets perfectly. This beautiful couple tied the knot on the water’s edge at C.J. McEwan Conservation Area, in Petrolia, Ontario, and held their reception at a hall in Camlachie. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, warm, autumn weather, and the amount of laughs and happiness given by all really captured the spirit of this special day.
Tyler and Melissa’s love of the outdoors really shone through in their engagement session. Along with her son, Zach, and their gorgeous dogs, we tromped through an old boy scout’s camp on the outskirts of Sarnia, Ontario. This unique location provided a creek with a dock, canoes, climbing structures, an old cabin, and tons of trees. We were so pleased with the way this family engagement shoot turned out, and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding next fall!
Dave and Christine joined us for their engagement session on the gorgeous beach at Port Franks, Ontario. We loved the idea, and had so much fun capturing this cute and quirky couple.
While doing a little bit of exploring in Central America (El Tunco, El Salvador, to be exact), we met up with a great photographer couple named Geo and Joyce. These two were kind enough to show us around the area, take us to some incredible spots (mountainside restaurant, anyone?) and leave us with some great memories. We also had the pleasure of photographing them as a couple, since they’d never actually been able to have posed photos together before. It was a great experience, and they really helped make our trip special.

Jay and Courtney were so easy to work with right from day one. From belly laughs to quiet moments, their wedding day was not an event to miss out on. We particularly enjoyed Courtney’s bridesmaid’s surprise flash mob dance number during the speeches at The Dante Club in Sarnia!
On the stunning grounds of Bogie’s Inn in Sombra, Nate and Mackenzie said their vows, and officially tied the knot. This venue proved to be just perfect for their love of sailing and all things nautical. It certainly was not hard to see how special and true Nate and Mackenzie’s love is, and we think this wedding day laid the ground works for an amazing future!
Nate and Mackenzie took us out on their boat in the middle of Lake Huron for their summer engagement session. These bespoke photos are some of our favourites!
Dan and Wendy’s stunning and unique wedding day left all in attendance feeling the love. This couple (along with their three adorable and vivacious daughters) created a day that was not only incredibly unique to many other weddings, but also so very fun! If you love barns, horses, and lovely lake views (at the Riding Club in Sarnia), this wedding certainly does not disappoint!
We had such a hard time narrowing down the best shots for the blog, so we may have included a little more than usual. Richard and Lauren created such a fabulous, laughter filled day with tons of picture perfect moments for us to capture. With locations such as Huron Oaks and Lizards Bar and Grill, this wedding was one for the books!
Richard and Lauren live out in Calgary, so we weren’t able to capture their engagement photos until they traveled down to Sarnia for their wedding. With only a few days prior to the BIG day, we brought these two down to Rock Glen Conservation area where we all took advantage of the cool water on such a hot day. We really enjoy working with couples who are willing to step outside of their comfort zone when we come up with crazy ideas… like standing at the top of a waterfall!

In October, 2015, we (Ryan + Kate) went on a vacation to stunning Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba. Staying at the Memories Paraiso Azul Resort, we thoroughly enjoyed the crystal clear blue water, and incredible white sandy beach. Better than that, the little town of Remedios provided local culture and beautiful old buildings. Perfect for a couple of shutterbugs!
We’ve been photographing Chris and Alissa for years. When Chris secretly messaged us to let us know that he planned to propose at our next couple’s session, we were giddy with anticipation. Since Trev and Jess live in Guelph, we proposed a location outside of both of our areas. Adam and Amber has us photograph their engagement photos at Twin Pines Orchards in Thedford, Ontario. This is where Adam popped the question during the winter, and very special and sentimental to the couple.
Greg and Chantal are the definition of an easy going couple. When their family’s off-the-grid cottage (which boasts wobbly ceilings and walls that definitely don’t sit at 90 degree angles) was brought up in conversation, we knew photographing their engagement session in this setting would create the most unique to them photos. This also gave us an excuse to drive up with them to Collingwood. We love traveling, and finding incredible new locations!

The Canatara Park Pavillion provided the ideal setting for this couple to tie the knot!
Very few couples opt for winter engagement sessions, so we were so excited when Jay and Courtney wanted snow – and lots of it! It was so fun taking advantage of the fluffy, cold white stuff, and a pond skating session at Wawanosh Wetlands in January!
Claire and Randy were married in the summer, but we waited for a cold, early morning in Sarnia, Ontario to have Claire’s Trash the Dress Session.
